As a Senior Payroll Officer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of payroll for Sundale.
Key responsibilities and tasks include:
- Supporting the Payroll Team Leader with the management of the payroll requirements
- End-to-end processing of fortnightly and ad hoc payroll including terminations, increases and back pay calculations
- Applying Enterprise Agreements and contract entitlements
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations while staying up-to-date with any changes that may impact our payroll procedures
- Performing annual processes including income statement generation via STP2 lodgements
- Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations
- Supporting maintenance of the payroll system
- Participating in audits and providing necessary documentation as part of the payroll review process
- Maintaining accurate records and confidentiality of employee payroll information
- Contributing to process improvements related to payroll administration for greater efficiency and accuracy

Knowledge and experience
- Previous experience in Payroll Administration with proven capability in interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements.
- Experience in working as part of a team and supporting a diverse workforce and management at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience with Payroll software, such as iChris, rostering solutions, self service portals and other Human Resource systems, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Business with an emphasis on Human Resources or equivalent experience in a high volume payroll environment.
