About the role
This Senior Pharmacist position is responsible for the provision of a broad range of high quality clinical pharmacy services at Ipswich Hospital to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research.
The pharmacy department provides services to a range of specialties including emergency, intensive care, rehabilitation, maternity, medical, surgical, orthopaedic, palliative care, peri-operative services and paediatric services and includes preparing and supervising the prescribing, distribution, administration and storage of medications throughout the hospital.
The position will work within prescribed professional and ethical standards & evidence-based practice.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
