About You:
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing clinical supervision, capability development or mentoring of other health professionals or undergraduate students, or the ability to rapidly acquire these skills.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with supervisees, senior therapy staff, regional teams and school teams through effective communication skills.
About the Role:
These permanent and temporary positions are attached to Regional Offices, with the following positions being available at each region: South East Region: 2 part-time positions; Metropolitan South Region: 1 full-time position. FTEs may be negotiable for the successful candidates within each Region.
Travel will be required within the respective region.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify and respond to professional, organisational and personal learning needs of school-based physiotherapists through leadership and clinical supervision aligned with the HP4 Senior Physiotherapy (Supervisory) role description and Clinical Governance Framework
- Direct and support school-based physiotherapists, school management teams and regional services in assessing physiotherapy needs, responses and interventions to support student outcomes
- Collaborate with physiotherapy and regional leadership teams to identify and respond to common issues impacting physiotherapy services in education in line with regional priorities through innovative and data driven solutions
- Monitor and report on workload management, wellbeing and performance across physiotherapy services within your region.
- Demonstrated ability to use relevant IT systems to support supervision and service delivery across a large geographic area.
