Your Opportunity
We have exciting projects in the pipeline and are currently seeking Senior Planners to work on upcoming/existing large civil and rail and airport construction projects in and around Melbourne.
You will support the delivery of a profitable project to time, cost, quality and compliance dimensions, and effectively document design and construction strategies, methods and programs for Project Plans and Schedules including contributing to their development and refinement.
As a Planner you will be accountable for:
- Ensuring contractual (project) obligations are identified and understood
- Ensuring project controls and reporting requirements are understood and followed
- Developing and delivering against project goals and objectives
- Developing design and construction programs that reflect agreed methodologies and identify key activities, milestones and constraints
- Actively contributing to identification of and response to project risks and opportunities
- Maintaining clear and concise communication with Project Team
- Updating master program, ensuring project delivery in optimal time
- Conducting regular reviews against plan and taking corrective actions as required
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of program forecast
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with key external clients
Our minimum requirements for these roles are:
- Ideally a few years' experience in a similar planning role
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Extensive experience on complex, high value projects within the Civil, Structural Infrastructure and Building works
- Proven experience with current industry standard planning software including P6, CPM, Time Chainage, Risk analysis etc.
