Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client’s Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.
The Role:
You will be part of an established Project Controls team, working across our iron ore major projects division. With both existing large scale projects, and new ones coming online, you'll have a variety of project phases to work on with longevity.
- Develop staging plans and planning outputs ensuring a valuable and usable schedule
- Review project documentation, including scope of work, contracts, and specifications, to identify project activities and milestones
- Develop and apply installation rates to quantity takeoffs and developed quantities within a discipline
- Perform quantity and manpower resource loading for assigned schedules
- Monitor and analyse project progress data to identify schedule variances and potential delays and ensure they are executed according to schedule

- Relevant Qualifications – Engineering or Construction Management
- Intermediate proficiency with Primavera P6
- Demonstrated experience meeting deadlines whilst managing emerging priorities
- A high level of skill and understanding of various resource-based planning principles and construction delivery methodologies
- Experience in large scale projects within the mining and resource industry
- Sound knowledge of planning and reporting of construction works
