Monadelphous is seeking experienced Senior Planner - E&I to be involved in an exciting Oil & Gas project in WA. This long-term project (approx. 2 years) will entail the installation of substations and electrical equipment to support the operations.
As a pivotal team member, your role as Senior Planner - E&I will see you involved in every aspect of the project lifecycle from initial project startup in Perth head office and subsequently transitioning to a site-based position undertaking a 2:1 FIFO roster (ex any capital city) during the construction phase. This arrangement ensures that you will have a balanced work-life schedule while contributing to the project's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of a detailed execution schedule(s) based on the scope of works.
- Development of comprehensive basis of schedule documents outlining schedule assumptions, construction sequencing, calendars, weather, resources, equipment, and critical path information
- Monitor and update key dates and sequencing of the schedule.
- Development and management of schedules deliverables, including but not limited to resource histograms, equipment histograms, procurement plans, quantity curves, and bedding forecasts.
- Review planning and scheduling documentation and identify ambiguities, risks and key issues to be considered by the project execution team
- Assist the Project Manager in compiling major project plans and execution schedules on behalf of the Project
- Ensure that appropriate planning and scheduling techniques and systems are implemented to meet the projects needs
- Work cooperatively with a team to accomplish project goals.
- Ensure that all project, engineering and procurement planning and scheduling information is available to service construction needs.
- Prepare planning/scheduling/cost control information into correspondence, forms, reports or databases; prepares information for dissemination to other.
- Establishing client relationships, making group presentations and communicating effectively with site personnel

What you will bring:
- Proven experience involved in E&I scopes on Oil and Gas Construction Projects (desirable)
- Background in Electrical and Instrumentation is highly desirable
- Previous experience using Primavera (P6) project planning tool
- Large-scale construction project experience ideally within Lithium, Oil & Gas or Iron Ore
- Demonstrated understanding of Critical Path analysis and Extension of Time claims
- Strong statistical and analytical reporting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
- You acquire a methodical approach, high attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of own work and meeting deadlines
- Ability to contribute and influence continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing delivery methods for your project partners
- Clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
- Ability to commit to a FIFO roster during the construction phase of the project
