AddressL'Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division is seeking a highly motivated Senior Demand and Supply Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal flow of our products from manufacturing to our valued customers, contributing directly to the success of brands like La Roche-Posay, CeraVe, Vichy and SkinCeuticals.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Develop and maintain robust statistical forecasts for a portfolio of products within the Dermatological Beauty Division.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to integrate market intelligence, promotional activities, and new product launches into the demand plan.
- Analyse historical data, trends, and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities, recommending adjustments to optimize forecast accuracy.
- Proactively identify and assess risks and opportunities to the demand plan and propose mitigation strategies.
Supply Planning:
- Partner with our global manufacturing facilities and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective production and delivery of products.
- Analyse inventory levels, lead times, and capacity constraints to develop and execute a robust supply plan that meets demand while optimizing inventory levels and costs.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks, including material shortages, production delays, and transportation disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and implement solutions that enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all demand and supply-related inquiries from internal stakeholders.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners, fostering a culture of shared ownership and accountability.
- Lead monthly demand review meetings, presenting forecast performance, insights, and action plans to senior management.
- Proactively communicate potential supply chain disruptions or risks and propose solutions to mitigate impacts.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and in full delivery.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities within the demand and supply planning processes.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement and lead initiatives to optimize planning processes and tools.
ABOUT YOU
- 5+ years of proven experience in demand and/or supply planning, preferably within the cosmetics or consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make sound business recommendations.
- Proficiency in demand planning and forecasting software, as well as ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
