Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Clinical Lead Podiatrist to join us on a part-time basis. In this pivotal management role, you will oversee our team of podiatrists, ensuring high standards of performance and professional development. Your dual roles will be education and quality assurance of the clinical staff, as well as oversight of the practise manager and admin staff. While primarily administrative, the role will involve hands-on podiatry work for teaching and during staff absences. Your contributions will be integral to maintaining our reputation for excellence in podiatric care.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor of Health Science in Podiatry
AHPRA Registration
Professional Insurance
Open driver's license
Senior First Aid Certificate
Annual CPR/Anaphylaxis Certificate
Federal Police Check
Key Responsibilities:
Train junior staff and assist maintaining CPD of existing staff
If necessary recruit, induct, and place new staff
Supervise staff for performance and professional growth
Collaborate with partners to achieve practice goals
Review and optimise practice systems
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations
Organise duty rosters and manage reception team
Supervise staff in maintaining medical records and premises cleanliness
Foster cooperative relationships with staff and partners
Conduct performance appraisals and maintain patient confidentiality
Manage and delegate tasks, resolve conflicts, and lead the team
Participate in practice meetings
