Senior Policy Advisor
* Salary: $106,534 – $128,897 (Plus Superannuation)

The Role
Accountabilities include but not limited to:
* Participate in specialist project teams established to address priority issues across the department's portfolio areas
* Analyse data, collate evidence and engage with stakeholders
* Produce concise and compelling reports, briefs and submissions
* Establish and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure the effective delivery of projects
* Employ best practice project management disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the agreed scope and objectives
The Team
The position of Senior Policy Advisor forms a part of the Economic Policy, Projects and Coordination Group and Priority Projects Unit. This unit supports the department with strategy development, priority reforms and problem-solving across the department in collaboration with relevant branches and stakeholders. The unit operates like an internal management consulting team. We are focused on delivering value to our clients through strong project management disciplines, structured thinking, robust data analysis and compelling communication.
About You
As a Senior Policy Adviser, you will work on priority projects across the department's portfolios including jobs, skills, investment attraction, industry development, innovation, regional and suburban development, the creative industries, sport, tourism and major events.
You will be a part of a high-performing team that operates like an internal management consulting firm to support joined-up strategy and policy development across the department.
