Employment Type: Temporary Full-Time (up to 12 months)
Remuneration: $120,859 - $133,183 per annum plus superannuation and annual leave loading
Hours per week: 35 hour working week in a hybrid working environment

The Workforce Reform Team is leading the delivery of transformative projects aimed at reshaping Australia's healthcare landscape. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to national workforce reform efforts. As our Senior Policy Advisor, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across jurisdictions, driving positive change in Australia's health workforce. What you will be doing: As the Senior Policy Advisor, your role will include:
Coordinating Workforce Reform Projects: Lead and coordinate projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring appropriate planning, execution and impactful outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of health agencies and across different jurisdictions, facilitating collaboration and buy-in.
Research and Policy Development: Lead both quantitative and qualitative research to address policy gaps and drive informed decision-making.
Innovative Problem-Solving: Leverage your experiences to devise creative solutions to interjurisdictional workforce challenges.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive advice, briefs, reports, and documentation for senior forums and committees, ensuring that critical insights are effectively communicated and considered.
About you:
Deep Understanding of Health System: Possess a deep knowledge of the current health system, including its challenges, trends, and opportunities.
Track Record of Project Success: Demonstrate a proven history of deploying innovative solutions to complex health challenges, driving successful project outcomes.
Passion for Impact: Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for influencing positive change within the health system, with a focus on improving outcomes for both the health workforce and the communities we serve.
