Title: Senior Policy Officer
Rate: Up to $ 48.24 - $76.21 + Super
Location: St Leonard's/ WFH
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2 months
The position assists in the development, implementation and evaluation of strategy, programs and policies. The role contributes to the provision of advice to a large range of stakeholders including Executive, Senior Managers and frontline workers.
Key accountabilities:
- Engage with and manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent and coordinated statewide approach
- Assist in the preparation of accurate, clear and timely written and verbal communication specifically in relation to policy documents, briefs, correspondence, meetings and presentations for Senior Executives and key staff, organizations and related government agencies.
- Background or experience in violence, abuse and neglect clinical, policy or program work is preferred, but not essential.
- 3-5 + Years experience in delivering policy and program management stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrated history of providing effective communication and negotiation skills
