The key duties of the position include
- Developing and maintaining relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and facilitating formal and ongoing engagement.
- Managing project administration and implementation to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes within agreed timeframes.
- Planning, procuring and managing the effective and efficient conduct of projects, consultancies or contracts to support the development of reports, including working with the Engagement & Communications team on the publication process and release of reports.
- Undertaking analysis to inform submissions, monitoring and reporting, and understanding across a range of topics related to the mental health system.
- Preparation of high-level briefs, submissions, discussion papers, correspondence and presentations to support the information needs of the Executive and Commissioners.
- Provision of secretariat support function and events management.
- Working flexibly and effectively across projects and teams in the Commission, including input into policy and strategy work.
- Effective records and information management.
- Other duties as required.
