Senior Policy Officer, Justice And Attorney-General

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in a team to identify, research, develop and analyse policy issues to develop evidence-based policy solutions in relation to women's safety and violence prevention.
• Review Cabinet documents and prepare advice on relevant policy, legislation and programs.
• Plan, implement and monitor progress of policy projects within tight timeframes to contribute to preventing domestic, family and sexual violence.
• Liaise and consult to identify issues and to develop practical policy solutions across our division, wider department, inter-governmental stakeholders and key external stakeholders.
• Prepare a range of written materials including briefing notes, memorandums for approval, speaking points, project plans, correspondence, discussion papers and reports to a high standard.
