The Opportunity

This is an exciting and varied opportunity within a high-growth global leading manufacturing organisation. Based in Melbourne's western/northern suburbs, you will work alongside multiple key stakeholders in the ELT as well as the Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing to provide commercial Business Partnering support to key site stakeholders.

The Challenge

A critical member of the site based commercial finance team your key responsibilities will include:

• Business partner manufacturing, supply chain and quality teams to develop budgets, forecasts and planning processes
• Provide site leadership team finance guidance and decision-making support including regular business reviews for strategic plans and targets
• Provide critical commercial decision support services to enable site based operations teams to make more informed strategic decisions
• Provide the business stakeholders with financial information regarding cost performance versus budgets and forecasts and understand the key drivers for the variances
• Undertaking detailed financial analysis and modelling to evaluate business performance and identify opportunities for improvement
• Review and analyse financial and non-financial data to identify trends and offer data-driven insights to operational managers, assisting in optimizing overall overhead performance
• Lead and deliver key process improvement initiatives

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:

• A formal tertiary degree in accounting, finance, or related subjects
• CA/CPA qualifications 
• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience partnering manufacturing operations teams with decision support services
• Manufacturing/FMCG background, in particular within FP&A, costing and management accounting experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ideally you have experience using large ERP and BI tools
