Gallagher are seeking an experienced senior insurance broker to inherit a profitable and high net-worth portfolio of domestic clients. The successful candidate is ready to apply their exceptional client service skills to service the needs of clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organised, an excellent problem solver together with being a strong communicator who can foster long-term client relationships. They have the ability to work autonomously to enable the highly experienced, service driven, intelligent, hardworking and friendly candidate to be a successful contributor to our team.
The purpose of this role is to assist our high net-worth portfolio of clients to obtain the best cover for their situation by processing policy renewals and endorsements, claims management and liaising with various underwriters and insurers. An integral part of the role involves collaborating with our corporate team across Australia to provide domestic solutions to mutual clients. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of excellent customer service and willing to build relationships with their clients.
The Role
Working with an elite and professional client base
Provide, insurance and risk management protection advice to an existing portfolio of high-net worth clients
Conduct regular meetings with all clients to discuss their portfolio and insurance needs and ensuring a high degree of quality customer service is provided
Engage with new referrals to establish their insurance needs and offer solutions
Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with insurers at a senior level
Accountability to manage and increase revenue within the portfolio
Contribute to continual process improvement, constantly challenging ways of operating with providing solutions and innovative ideas
Uphold high professional standards
We are seeking someone who displays the following:
3+ years of experience managing customer accounts within the insurance industry including experience interacting directly with clients
A high-energy, collaborative, and self-starter attitude; willing to roll up your sleeves and have an incredible ownership mentality
Driven and professional disposition with a willingness to contribute to a team environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Outstanding phone manner
Tier 1 RG146 accreditation (mandatory)
Strong technical skills in MS Office applications–Word, Excel, and Outlook
Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks at once.
Adapt at quickly learning and adopting new technology
Strong professional standards and well presented
Protect clients by maintaining confidentiality of all personal and financial information
