Are you up for the challenge?
We are currently looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to join our Cross Yarra Partnership Maintenance team. This role will see you delivering the Building Services maintenance subcontractor procurement program and is based out of the team’s project office in Melbourne.
As a member of the Strategic Procurement team, you will be responsible for the management of the program and will work with the Maintenance Subcontractor team to coordinate and tender the key subcontracted services required for the opening of the project.
About the Role
Formulate, develop, and implement purchasing strategies with the objective of meeting business requirement for assurance of supply, quality, service, cost, innovation and regulatory compliance
Align procurement strategies with those of the customer site/commercial business and relevant souring groups
Consult with internal stakeholders to lead the procurement process in line with the Maintenance Team business needs
Develop and implement procurement policies where required
Coordinate development of subcontractor scope specification
Coordinate and manage subcontractor meetings & negotiations
Support Commercial Manager and Services Director in commercial negotiation with key suppliers
Support Commercial Manager and Services Director to ensure subcontractor scope, risk profile and cost meets contract performance requirements
Management of overall procurement program
Manage procurement operation expenditure to plan
Maintain and establish documentation and quality specifications
Manage relationships and ways of working with key suppliers to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of goods/services that meet business requirements
