Senior Procurement Officer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join the Residential Tenancies Authority (RTA). This role will assist the RTA to meet its strategic objectives and legislative requirements by ensuring compliance with whole of Government procurement strategies and meeting business needs to deliver value, efficiency and consistency.

This position is a 2-year fixed-term, full-time role and is located in the Brisbane CBD.

This role is fast paced, exciting and dynamic! We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Senior Procurement Officer who can work in a multi-disciplinary team that thrives on collaboration with a focus on delivery.

To be successful you will need:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar government based role
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with multiple business units, providing a superb customer experience
• The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Proven experience in:
• Preparation, administration and evaluation of government tenders
• Delivery of government procurement and purchasing related training
• The complete government procure to pay process
