Job description

A great opportunity for a Senior Product Manager (Media), whose main objective in the role is to design innovative media products that serve a dual purpose of delivering substantial value to advertisers while simultaneously enhancing the experience of property seekers on Domain. You will be responsible for crafting solutions that strike a perfect balance between commercial interests and user satisfaction, positioning Domain as a leader in the real estate media space

In this position, you'll initially chart the course solo, focusing on developing an impactful media product strategy and roadmap. Your first three months will be about laying the foundation and setting the direction for what's to come. As you establish our strategy, you'll transition into leading a newly formed scrum team, dedicated to turning your vision into reality.

You will also play a pivotal role in integrating and implementing your media strategy across other teams within our organisation. This includes close collaboration with our Seeker Search and Consumer Solutions teams. Your ability to influence, synchronise efforts and ensure cohesive strategy execution across these diverse teams will be key to driving innovation and impact across our product portfolio.

Who are you?

The ideal candidate will be working in partnership with Tech and Design across both web and apps, and your triad will be responsible for crafting innovative media experiences.

  • Create a media product roadmap that is both innovative and valuable, catering to the needs of advertisers and helping Domain's property seekers.

  • Lead the Media scrum team (once formed) and collaborate with Tech, Design and Sales to take media products to market.

  • Work hand-in-hand with advertisers to deeply understand their needs, translating this into valuable, monetisable product features.

  • Collaborate with our sales team to develop solutions that not only meet market demands but also open new revenue streams, ensuring a seamless alignment between product development and sales strategies.

  • Stay ahead of market trends, user feedback, and competitive dynamics, using this knowledge to continually improve and innovate our products.

  • Spearhead quarterly planning, focusing on goal-setting, prioritising impactful initiatives, and smart resource allocation.

  • Engage with our users through various methods like surveys and A/B testing, using these insights to refine and enhance our product offerings.

  • Engage with other Product Managers across business units, sharing best practices and aligning product strategies to maximise overall impact and cohesion
