The Senior Product Manager, Carrier, Voice & API Monetisation is principally responsible for meeting selected Optus Wholesale product revenue targets, gross margin, and market share targets from the sale of products within the Carrier, Voice & API Monetisation portfolio.
It is imperative that the successful candidate has the entrepreneurial skill and vision with the ability to develop, justify and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve win-win outcomes under a fast moving and resource constrained environment.
The day to day
- Develop, launch, and manage products that will drive growth for the Carrier, Voice & API Monetisation portfolio.
- Monitor the wholesale Carrier, Voice & API Monetisation portfolio P&L; be responsible for pricing, tracking and reporting key data portfolio KPI metrics including PE/Churn, Revenue, GM etc.
- Conduct market feasibility analysis, business case and development for a new range of API Monetisation offerings.
- Own the product life cycle, plan & execute the strategic product roadmap for the Carrier, Voice & API Monetisation portfolio.
- Develop product technical presentation, customer contract, supplier agreements, product collaterals and support internal and external customers when required.
- In depth experience in the context of the Australian voice telecommunications market
- Previous Product Marketing and/or commercial experience in a telecommunications environment
- Experienced in the development of product strategy including pricing, product features, channel development and promotion
- Ability to lead a cross functional virtual teams and determine, prioritise and articulate business requirements
- Strong financial modelling/analytical and Excel modelling skills
