Where and how you can work
Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.
About the Performance Platform team
The Performance team is not the only team in Canva working on performance; however, the purpose of the performance team is to empower Canva to deliver a delightful experience for the billions of users we are aiming to reach.
As a PM for the Performance Platform, you will be working closely with Product Managers and Engineering leads around the company to gather stakeholder feedback and requests to improve the platform.
What you'd be doing in this role
At Canva, we are committed to providing our 140+ million users with the best possible experience when using our platform, on any device. As a Performance Product Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our product's performance meets and exceeds the expectations of our users, and help Canva reach those that we haven't been able to reach yet.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Defining a vision and clear strategy for performance at Canva
- Balance vision work with incremental improvements to the platform that delivers value to users - internal stakeholders and our end users.
- Measuring and communicating the success of improvements and new platform features to the wider business, translating what is being built to tangible business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration, gathering insights about current pain points, and anticipating the future needs and opportunity areas for the Performance Platform.
- Being the voice and advocate of the end user when it comes to Product Performance
- Finding ways to increase adoption within teams across the business so that every team is thinking of Product Performance and equipped to make improvements.
You're probably a match if you have:
- You have Product Management experience in building platforms that allow internal teams to scale.
- You enjoy getting into the data, technical details and user experience, and are able to collaborate with your engineering counterparts to ensure solutions deliver against business needs.
- You are able to zoom out and use broader business context and external factors to advise your vision and strategy.
- You are an exceptional communicator and can tailor how you speak about Performance when working across different teams and specialties, and layers of the business.
- You thrive in environments where you're enabling others to do great things, by doing great things yourself.
- You are passionate about ensuring that Canva is inclusive and accessible to everyone, everywhere, in which performance plays a huge role.
- You enjoy making complex things simple - this is one of our Canva Values, and we believe this is particularly important for performance.
What's in it for you?
Achieving our crazy big goals motivates us to work hard - and we do - but you'll experience lots of moments of magic, connectivity and fun woven throughout life at Canva, too. We also offer a stack of benefits to set you up for every success in and outside of work.
