Senior Program Manager (Cybersecurity - Operational Technology)

Our client is a large NSW government department that provides extensive public transport services

They are delivering a Cybersecurity program that encompasses several project streams - across the Operational Technology (OT) areas such as signalling, telemetry, ticketing systems etc

These are mission critical areas that are essential to the operation of the Greater Sydney Rail network.

Role description:

The Program Manager will be accountable for the ongoing analysis, identification and implementation of cyber security initiatives for the work streams under the Program - ensuring that project deliverables are met and the appropriate engagement and management of key business stakeholders across divisions

This includes:

• Manage cyber security projects streams ensuring project scheduling, management, initiatives, financial accountability, program framework and governance is met 
• Manage the cyber security development of program strategies specific to the area of control and champion them with the Program Director, sponsor and within the business
• Manage the Operational Technology organisational and change management activities across the work stream in liaison with other senior management and external stakeholders  
• Contribute strongly to the communications strategy and implementation plan for the program - to facilitate engagement of staff and stakeholders
• Lead the analysis, identification and validation of key initiatives across all directorates for Sydney ensuring decisions are made based on data
• Define the initiatives for the Program and ensure that this is delivered within the committed timeframes
• Develop any business cases required to justify the operational capacity initiatives and ensure full endorsement at the appropriate level is achieved - manage the end to end procurement for such activities 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in program management with a focus on  managing complex and diverse, large scale systems / technology programs
• Demonstrated experience managing cyber security solution delivery at the enterprise level
• Understanding of cyber security technology and also risk and governance
• Experience in Operational Technology (OT) preferred
• Experience in both government and large corporates
• Experience in organisations that have large, customer facing workforces
• Experience delivering transformational solutions  
• Experience in tracking and delivering transformational programs including management of work within BAU constraints
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in technology / business
• Program management experience must include overseeing all activities related to program direction, scope, deliverables, planning, resource allocation and assignment, project health and reporting, problem resolution and collaboration with senior stakeholders
• Excellent people and stakeholder management skills
