MARS Recruitment is partnering with a prominent company in the property sector, actively seeking a proficient Senior Manager, Finance & Business Partnering to join their growing team and contribute to the continued success of their thriving organization. In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with providing financial and Business Partnering support to the company's Programs Team. Your responsibilities will encompass financial modelling, life-cycle cost modelling, budgeting, monthly and quarterly reforecasting, cash flow forecasting, and deep data analysis to deliver high-level analytical insights to both commercial and operational teams. Additionally, you will be instrumental in implementing internal processes and frameworks to optimize organizational efficiency.
This essential managerial role demands an individual with expertise in life-cycle cost modelling, proficiency in modelling tools, and adept stakeholder management skills. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a dedication to driving improvements and possess robust communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Developing lifecycle Asset Management Forecasting models
- Spearheading the implementation of the Asset Management Roadmap for Growth Strategy
- Collaborating with leaders to generate regular reports on key performance indicators, analysing expenditure and budget for various operational programs, and providing recommendations to inform decision-making
- Supervising the financial reporting requirements of the Group, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
- Coordinating financial deliverables in conjunction with capital partners
- Crafting and reviewing stakeholder reports for external funding agencies and stakeholders
- Compiling Board papers to present financial performance
- Facilitating the end-of-year external financial audit
- Ensuring compliance with relevant statutory reporting and regulatory requirements, as well as adherence to AASB and taxation compliance
- Efficiently managing treasury and banking functions, including cash flow budgeting and forecasting
- Leading and nurturing the team, offering technical support and guidance
- Implementing best practice financial frameworks and internal controls
- Taking the lead on finance projects and initiatives to accomplish the company's strategic objectives
Criteria:
- 8+ years of experience in financial controls and Business Partnering roles
- CA/CPA qualified (or international equivalent)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Experience in asset management is preferred
- Proficiency in modelling tools is required
- Expertise in life cycle modelling is essential for this role
- Thorough understanding of AASB accounting standards
- Demonstrates strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven track record in driving process improvements and implementing control frameworks
