About the Role:
The Principal Program Officer supports the Risk and Assurance function to drive effective and efficient management of the education infrastructure portfolio, ensuring all areas of the Division are well supported to meet their Risk and Assurance obligations. The team supports the Divisions' broader Risk and Assurance functions.
We are a small collaborative team who work closely with all areas of Infrastructure Services Division as well as the wider department.

The role will involve the review and synthesis of information from different sources to consolidate and provide advice across the Division. Through effective consultation and collaboration with stakeholders the team is able to understand challenges across the Division. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to interpret this information into reports to the broader department.
Highly desirable skills and experience;
- We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication and organisational skills and is able to adapt to change in a complex organisation. - Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to interpret this information into reports to the broader department.
- Prior experience in areas such as risk management, audit or assurance is advantageous.
