UGL are currently seeking interest from Project Accountant's to join our regional team in Gladstone, QLD. This opportunity will see you join a reputable company with a highly experienced team who work together to develop and provide solutions for our customer.
About the role
As a key member of the team, you will partner with the Finance Lead providing necessary financial support that assist in the delivery of accurate monthly reporting and maximise project outcomes.
Three main objectives in this role are leadership, cash conversion and invoicing along with partnering the team.
About You
You will inspire your team, draw on their diverse skills and create an environment where great ideas are heard, and everyone looks out for one another. Ideally you will have:
- Ensure relevant costs are taken to account processing monthly billing and passed through to the client as per contract execution
- Process cost control, invoicing and debtor recovery activities for site ensuring compliance with company terms and other policies
- Lead and manage a team, providing support, team collaboration and training
- Action end of month processes and financial reporting within required deadlines and to required levels of accuracy for the contract
- Ensure all cost reporting is developed for submission to the client in a timely manner
