About the Team
The Division of Infrastructure and Commercial facilitates a strategic approach to planning, development and ongoing maintenance of the Universitys built infrastructure, properties and Commercial activities. Working in partnership with all areas of the University community, the division ensures the strategic development and maintenance of the network of campuses and property estate to support the Universitys learning, teaching and research activities and preserves and enhances the unique aesthetics of the campuses. The division manages the sustainability agenda in line with the University’s vision and maintains a safe and healthy environment for those that use our campuses.
About the Role
The Office of Commercial Services and Governance is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Project Coordinator to support the Western Growth Program. Western Growth is a large-scale transformative initiative, bringing the highest quality educational opportunities and world-class research expertise to Australias fastest-growing region, Western Sydney. The Senior Program Coordinator is responsible for the provision of high-level project support and will provide overall coordination, assisting with the development of consistent project management tools across the Western Growth Program. The position will also prepare key documents such as executive papers, summaries, reports and presentations for senior staff and various stakeholders.
This is a full-time, ongoing positionbased at Westerns Hawkesbury Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.
About you
The successful candidate will:
- Possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or substantial industry experience, ideally in a large, complex work setting.
- Demonstrate experience in project management, inclusive of administration, management and support for project delivery.
- Display high level oral and written communication skills and an ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of staff; including the ability to write reports at executive level.
- Demonstrate high level interpersonal and negotiation skills with the capacity to develop effective working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Exhibit high level analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the capacity to successfully manage competing work priorities meet deadlines and develop effective solutions to identified problems.
- Demonstrate high level skills in analysing data and findings, and writing succinct reports.
- Demonstrate ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and act with diplomacy and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues.
