About the role
The Senior Development Consultant performs project management and supports case management activities which contribute to the development and delivery of infrastructure to support the land, housing and development industry in line with our already established objectives.
The duties include but are not limited to;
- Provide a range of project management and support services, via our case management platform, coordinating resources, to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, to quality standards and within agreed scope
- Prepare and maintain case management documentation and quality control
- Facilitate and provide lead for technical discussions and able to make decisions
- Review design plans, engineering technical reports and Technical Standards
- Develop relationships with key business stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
- Occasional site inspections

About you
- Proven experience in a fast-paced environment, responsive to shifting priorities and the ability to be agile and flexible, delivering outcomes quickly
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Water) Urban Planning, Business or related discipline) or experience deemed equivalent
- Experience in working within a development servicing / customer service / infrastructure planning environment
- Problem solving skills, with the ability to analyse options and provide recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people and productive relationships across the team
- Demonstrated knowledge in one or more product and servicing types (water, wastewater, stormwater, recycled water)
- Experience in assessing submitted documents including, commercial deeds, designs, funding / procurement packages and finalisation packages
