A leading Australian finance and asset management company is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to assist their product launch team and CEO in all project management and day-to-day related tasks.
Title: Senior Project Coordinator
Role: Fixed Term 6-12 months (renewable or possibility of conversion to perm)
Location: Sydney, CBD. Hybrid (3-4 days/week in office)
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and management of projects, within established project management frameworks, methodologies, and policies, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Working on a FinTech prouct launch - lead the project management process, establishing timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure project risks and issues are promptly identified and effectively managed and that project stakeholders are informed and engaged in project development and implementation activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Worked with vendors to develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and project-related events, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and logistics.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations, reports, and publications.
- Assist in day-to-day activities. Support general office admin tasks and maintain project-related files and records.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience
- Experience in finance/FinTech industry
- Experience in Prince 2, PMBOK or significant relevant industry experience.
- Fintech or startup environment experience (preferred)
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to work with all levels of employees and management.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in the face of changing organisational priorities and ambiguous environments.
