Senior Project Engineer

About the role

Currently in search of dedicated and seasoned Senior Project Engineer to fill a full-time position in the Perth metropolitan area, focusing on diverse utility, pipeline, and civil construction projects.

The role involves overseeing the daily management of both the commercial and technical aspects of project delivery, as assigned by the Project Manager. This responsibility may encompass managing specific project components, overseeing a single project, or handling multiple projects concurrently.

About you

• Demonstrated success in effectively delivering projects in accordance with contract requirements.
• Leadership skills to guide and mentor project teams and personnel in both site safety and project execution.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and self-manage work responsibilities.
• Proficient in cost tracking, budget compilation, and reporting.
• Thorough understanding of contract requirements, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Strong technical expertise in design specifications, construction techniques, programming, and planning.
• High level of awareness and dedication to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including adept report writing.
• Effective problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Proficiency in various computing software, including experience with Microsoft Excel and Project; familiarity with CHEOPS is advantageous.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable role as a Project Engineer.
• Possession of a tertiary qualification in Civil Construction or Mechanical Engineering.
• Applicants must have current rights to live and work in Australia.
• A valid full Western Australia driving license
