About Tankweld
Tankweld is an established industrial engineering solutions provider based in Melbourne, with a broad portfolio of tier-1 clients, predominantly in the infrastructure sector. Tankweld has been successfully operating in the water sector for many years and has recently been acquired by fast-growing ASX-listed Parkway. Parkway is a leading provider of industrial water treatment related products, services, solutions & technology, focused on solving difficult water challenges, sustainably. Through the acquisition of Tankweld, Parkway has established turnkey (engineering, procurement & construction, EPC) project delivery capabilities and is looking to deploy these capabilities across increasingly large and complex water infrastructure projects.
About the Role
Tankweld is currently delivering a diverse portfolio of water treatment and infrastructure related projects for a range of municipal and industrial clients. We have recently been invited to participate in a broader range of projects, with the support of our parent company, Parkway Process Solutions.
In order to support our continued growth, we are looking to expand our project execution related capabilities, we are looking to grow our team and seeking to recruit a Senior Project Engineer. As part of our growth plans, we have also created a new role for a Senior Project Manager and/or Project Delivery Manager, which may be suitable for more experienced Project Engineers ready to step up into a management role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will:
- Plan and sequence project delivery activities, including construction activities.
- Provide leadership and direction to direct reports relating to project delivery, as well as interfacing with process and design teams.
- Support the procurement team to ensure efficient project delivery, as well as supplier and contractor engagement.
- Subcontractor negotiation, engagement and management.
- Tracking project performance against budget, schedule and client requirements.
- Adhere to and promote the highest levels of compliance with health and safety standards.
- Interface with client representatives to ensure project success.
- Experience in developing project budgets will be highly regarded, particularly for the more senior Project Delivery Manager role.
About You
- You will hold a relevant engineering degree (ideally mechanical or civil) and have extensive experience working on industrial infrastructure projects, particularly within the water sector.
- Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for functioning as part of a high-performing team.
