To achieve this, we rely on the expertise and dedication of a skilled workforce.As the PTA spearheads large, intricate public transport endeavours under the METRONET program, the PTA Project Delivery Division seek two (2) Senior Project Managers to drive excellence in our Network Delivery team and the Nowergup Depot Modification project.About youAs the leader overseeing medium to high-risk, large-scale infrastructure projects for the Public Transport Authority (PTA), your role is pivotal in advancing the improvement and expansion of the PTAs network. Your duties encompass managing significant public transport network projects, offering expert guidance on project and contract management, and effectively mitigating risks.Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders is crucial for project development and delivery as is ensuring consultants' compliance with contractual obligations regarding cost, time, performance, and safety standards. You'll also lead project teams, establish plans, and adhere to the PTA Project Management Framework. Additionally, you'll conduct research, provide project-specific reports, and manage medium to high risk contracts in collaboration with stakeholders, covering procurement planning, tender documentation, and contract formation.The focus of this role will require:Proven experience in planning, design, and construction of infrastructure such that agreed outcomes are achieved.Highly developed project and contract management skills.Technical awareness directly relevant to program area including working experience of industry standard scheduling and cost management software.Leadership and management expertise, inspiring others to achieve project goals.Beyond the technical qualifications mentioned above, we seek individuals capable of efficiently managing and guiding staff, consultants, and contractors to meet established goals.
