Form of workEden Ritchie is seeking a Senior Project Manager to utilise aspects of agile in the delivery of the projects, will have a growth mindset and be dedicated to and participate in continuous improvement workstreams.
- 8 month contract
- Brisbane CBD location
As the Senior Project Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Support the project sponsor in their championship of the project to the Executive Management Team and Senior Project stakeholders.
- Provide leadership to the project team (internal and external) and its workstreams.
- Work effectively with the project sponsor and the Executive Management Team on removing project roadblocks and resolving project issues and risks.
- Lead the management of organisational change management and business transformation activities with a focus on demonstrating value early and continuously.
- Apply fit-for-purpose principles in developing, managing and maintaining relevant project management artefacts.
- Identify, document and manage project risks, issues and dependencies and proactively work towards their resolution.
- Identify, document and manage stakeholder expectations in alignment with project scope.
- Manage the project within its non-financial and financial constraints and report within existing arrangements to the Executive Management Team.
Qualifications and experience:
- Business Management/Business Administration or other qualification relevant to the role.
- Extensive experience (at least five years) in Project Management and Organisational Change Management is required, preferably with large and complex programs of work in a public sector (e.g. government) organisation/s.
- Experience in business transformation, business improvement and/or change management initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Portfolio/Program/Project Management.
