AddressThe Downer Water project delivery team are the experts in water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations and wastewater treatment plants. Due to growth and internal movements, there is an opportunity for a driven and innovative Senior Project Manager to join the team.
THE ROLE
The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of large-scale design and construct projects across the water and wastewater sector. This includes large-scale water transfer projects, micro-tunnelling, deep shaft and treatment plant upgrades. The Senior Project Manager will empower, coach and mentor project teams to deliver optimal outcomes across time, cost, quality and safety.
Responsibilities include:
- Establish and maintain good working relationships across project teams including design functions, subcontractors, Zero Harm and commercial teams.
- Form optimal work packages for projects and ensure that construction methods are optimised and improved to maximise performance and the project outcome.
- Provide accurate cost reports and forecasts, in accordance with project limitations and deadlines.
- Support and develop team and individual capability through mentoring, providing feedback, celebrating successes, and supporting individual development plans.
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
- Demonstrated complex project management experience in water industry.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic contracting service orientated environment.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Developed analytical and planning/prioritisation skills; financial planning and budgeting skills.
