The OpportunityThis role presents a leadership opportunity for a Positive Vetted Senior Project Manager to take charge of a critical defence project. By overseeing key stakeholders and leading a multidisciplinary team, you will play a direct role in project delivery.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in ongoing improvement activities within the project, influencing business processes.
The RoleAs a Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Plan and deliver the pre-gate 2 scope of works
- Manage current and future relationships with key stakeholders, including capability managers, platform sponsors, delivery agencies, industry partners and DSTG
- Contribute to ongoing improvement activities as part of the leadership team, identify opportunities for business improvements, and engage with SMEs within the SPO
- Maintain compliance with existing and emerging Defence reporting requirements, including senate estimates, ministerial queries, monthly performance reporting and project risks
The ideal candidate for this role, must hold a PV clearance and showcase considerable experience in project management, specifically within secure communication systems or C4I systems.
A proven history of guiding integrated project teams and possess familiarity with the CASG Defence environment and Government gate approval processes. You should demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and an aptitude for learning new concepts and systems.
Salary / Rate- $170/hr – $190/hr incl super
- 16 month contract
