Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a proficient Project Manager to oversee 2-4 regulatory and risk projects concurrently. This is a crucial role, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating risks effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple regulatory and risk projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, risks, and dependencies.
- Develop and maintain project plans, documentation, and reporting to track progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and bottlenecks to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the project team.
- Project management certification.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) managing regulatory or risk projects within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage competing priorities, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
This position is based in from their Hobart satellite office and offers an initial 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
