YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Project Manager in our Strategic Enablement team supporting both Direct Insurance Australia (DIA) & Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA), you will be responsible for leading the strategy, planning and execution of Enterprise, Risk & Regulation complex projects or programs.
Your day-to-day work will involve effective management and delivery of projects along with performing governance through adherence to divisional and group policies like the ePMO Governance framework and IAG’s internal risk framework. You will be accountable for developing, planning, organising, staffing, leading and controlling program or project activities to ensure outcomes satisfy key stakeholders including partners, colleagues and customers.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Define of project delivery plans and manage execution against these plans, across technology delivery partners and our business stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Project financial management.
- Project delivery governance and reporting.
About You
- Demonstrated experience and track record in leading projects or programs with budget up to at least $10m, or leading streams within large scale, multi-dimensional, multiyear programs.
- Extensive experience in Program, Project delivery across diverse range of projects e.g. business transformation, application development, cultural change
- Having acumen and experience to handle both business and technical projects. Delivery of complex solutions across business and technology
- Experience in Financial Services, ideally General Insurance
- Demonstrated stakeholder management and experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of project management tools and methodologies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
