- Contract: 6 months from the start date
- Pay Rate: $120-$135 P/H + super
- Location: WFH Hybrid, Office: Sydney Olympic Park. Some on-site travel required: Metro South Region - Inner West
- Must have: Valid Drivers licence, Contraction white card, Clear police check, Australian Permanent Residency or citizenship and reside in NSW.
Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the position is to successfully manage the delivery of predominantly medium to high risk/complexity projects to plan, within the Regional Annual Integrated Works Program. The Program includes capital works, maintenance and facilities management services, tactical renewal and minor works projects. The position is accountable to ensure consistency, accuracy and efficiency in project delivery, cost and risk management across all assigned projects within and across asset classes. The position contributes to the development of the Annual Integrated Works Program, and continuously challenges and identifies ways to improve the delivery of projects.
Your deliverables in the role:
- Manage the successful delivery of medium to high-risk projects from initiation to handover, adhering to NEC4 and Program Delivery framework.
- Actively drive collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams internally and other delivery partners to ensure consistency, accuracy and efficiency in project delivery, cost and risk management across allocated projects.
- Contribute to the development of the Annual Integrated Works Program, and project manage NEC4 based contracts in any of the following areas:
o Maintenance Services
o Facilities Management Services
o Tactical Renewals
o Minor works (<$5m)
o Professional Services
o Design and Construction Works ($5-$20m+ in project value) - Develop and align Project Plans with the government agency and partners, defining targets and objectives.
- Proactively manage stakeholder engagement, risks, schedules, procurement, quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Prepare Business Cases for medium to high-risk projects, including analysis and recommendations.
- Conduct regular meetings with partners, manage risks, schedules, and compliance matters.
Experience you must have for this role:
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant or related field or experience deemed equivalent
• Proven project management experience, delivering large and multi-faceted projects, is essential
• Proven leadership / senior management experience is required
• Experience working with key business stakeholders
• Significant years of industry experience, including in:
- Working within and leading large, multi-disciplinary integrated teams and/or alliances
- Design and construction project delivery within the infrastructure/utilities sectors
- NEC4 contract management and administration
- Managing complex stakeholders
- Leading positive business change
- Program management and/or regional delivery of multiple investment programs
- Delivery via a range of contracting models
• Experience in managing desilting and rehabilitation of large sewage/drainage tunnels would be highly regarded
