Senior Project Manager

• Major Marque Civil Infrastructure Project for the SEQ Region
• Alliance with State Government & Tier 1 Contractors
• Location: Gold Coast
• Period: 24 Months minimum project timeline
• Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 + Super + Vehicle

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager or Engineer that has experience with delivering large scale infrastructure projects in bulk earthworks & soil remediation. This project is an alliance between State Government & multiple tier 1 contractors to deliver a marque rail project which is one of the biggest of its kind.  

About The Role:  

• Delivering all the bulk earthworks & soil remediation on the site. 
• Managing compliance standards and detailed reports as this will be a success measure. 
• Liaising with stakeholders to articulate timesheets and project progression. 
• Lead and inspire a team of Project Managers, engineers, and support staff to achieve project objectives with excellence.
• Strategically plan and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimise project outcomes.
• Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols and quality control measures to uphold industry standards and mitigate risks.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and industry partners to foster collaboration and secure new business opportunities.
• Analysis project performance metrics and financial data to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Experience working with or in Tier 1 is a must.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Civil engineering, environment, or construction.
• Project Management Credentials
• Australian Drivers Licence
• Full Australian working rights 
• Construction White Card 
• Proven track record of major project delivery in civil construction, earthworks, bulk earthworks, roads or rail projects.
• Experience and knowledge of how to manage government stakeholders. 
• Compliance minded individual who can articulate and drive requirements from a variety of angles.
