The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a motivated and diligent Senior Project Manager to join the Property and Social Infrastructure (PSI) team in Melbourne.
We are looking for a confident communicator with the ability to manage both private and public sector clients. The role could support an existing project team while underpinning our growth in one of our deep and broad pipeline of projects – with multiple leads in social infrastructure (education, health, and social housing) or property (aviation, commercial, mixed-use precincts, accommodation).
You will bring extensive experience working across the full project lifecycle from concept to completion; including client liaison, managing and developing client briefs, coordinating project resources, managing the design process and contract management.
Our highly successful Melbourne PSI team provides innovative solutions to a broad range of industry sectors from Health, Education, Residential, Aviation, Commercial, Mixed-use, Aged Care, Defence, Retail, Industrial, and Government amongst others.
Projects range across strategy & advisory, design definition, and delivery phases for a range of private and public clients. You will join an inspiring team of around 40 people, led by industry experts who will provide mentorship and opportunities to support your career growth.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in any of the following sectors; built-to-rent accommodation, built-to-sell accommodation, student housing, Social Housing, Aviation, Commercial (base building and/or workplace), Mixed-use, Aged Care, Data Centres,
- Professional qualifications in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management highly beneficial
- Strong understanding in managing construction contracts, contract administration
- Demonstrated experience in Client management and owning/reviewing project budgets and managing project commercial position (eg fees, scope, invoicing)
- Confident, consultative and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with the potential to lead teams and forge positive internal and external relationships
- Strong business acumen, integrity, credibility and professionalism
- Highly motivated with a keen desire to learn, develop and be a valued team member
- An established client and consultant network is highly desirable
