Project Managers at Australian Unity
At Australian Unity our Senior Project Managers are responsible for the delivery of activities including management of the project scope, schedule, resource management, risk & issue management as well as working closely with various stakeholders from across the business such as Product Management, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Operations and Distribution, Technology, PMO.
Our Project & Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible for the management of scope, quality, and timely delivery of a strategically important projects in the Insurance business. The primary focus of the Senior Project Manager at the outset will involve improving the SalesForce case management workflow and introducing automation processes to enhance operational efficiencies.
What you will do
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of a strategic project, either using Agile or Waterfall methodology
- Manage multiple project work streams concurrently, reporting on timeline, scope and budget, providing regular reporting to key business stakeholders and Steering Committee
- Monitor and manage project implementation and delivery risks and any project issues
- Apply business analysis skills to work through project-related issues in conjunction with diverse stakeholder set
- Embed an operationally sustainable system to listen learn and respond to customer and employee feedback
- Drive a genuinely, customer centric culture through sustained leadership commitment
- Define, deliver and continue to enhance the business unit's customer value proposition including research and insights
What we are looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business, commerce, risk or related field. A relevant Project Management qualification would be highly regarded.
- 5-10 years of industry experience in project and program management, delivering complex projects.
- Proficient in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring value is delivered within agreed time, quality, and budget constraints.
- Experience with salesforce projects or experience developed within the health insurance industry would be highly regarded.
- Strong stakeholder management principles with a demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships.
- Ability to establish and monitor quality standards, conducting quality assurance checks ensuring deliverables meet expectations.
- Experience in change management supporting the adoption of new technologies and processes within complex organisations.
- Proficient in project management tools, specifically JIRA and Wrike (preferred but not a must)
