Senior Project Manager

The Opportunity:

Are you a dynamic Project Manager ready to take on a challenge to define your career?  We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Parkville Exit program team on the crucial strategic project to transition CSL Seqirus Australian Operations from Parkville to the Banksia sites, and prepare the Parkville site for handover to the Victorian Government. You’ll be responsible, along with the Transition Program Director, for delivering the transition to the new cell-based manufacturing sites and the exit from the Parkville site, utilizing project management expertise to deliver the program in line with business plan objectives, budget and timelines.  You will act as a subject matter expert in project management principles and provide these skills to the projects comprised within the Parkville Exit program.

This will be a Fixed Term contract until 31st December 2026, would be suitable for someone who has in-depth knowledge of the influenza business and manufacturing site operations to effectively support program requirements.

The Role:

• Develops and manages the Parkville Exit program schedule through to site exit in 2026.
• Develops and tracks relevant project KPIs and communicates project progress, risks and issues to project team members and relevant stakeholders, including timely provision of project reports/dashboards.
• Executes the handover plan to Victorian Government and cessation of site services to existing site tenants.
• Works alongside the leads of the Parkville Exit hoshin teams (Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Continuous Operations, Supply Chain, Site Exit) and the Program Director to deliver on the program goals.
• Provides project management expertise, developing strategy proposals and risk mitigation plans, conducting feasibility evaluations, and delivering to budget, timescale and scope and meeting our GMP compliance requirements.
• Leads cross-functional teams to help optimise value, time, resources and risks, providing clear leadership and direction to project teams as necessary.
• Leads development of project budgets for inclusion in Parkville Exit program budget along with Seqirus OPEX and CAPEX annual budgets where required.
• Develops integrated project plans and monitors project activities for adherence to milestone timelines, deliverables and budget against approved plan.
• Develops risk mitigation strategies.
• Represents the program, where required at governance meetings such as Parkville Tier 3, CSL Seqirus IRB, OLT/QLT, Parkville SIRB

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualification in business or scientific/technical field relevant to Seqirus’ products.
• 5+ years’ experience in biopharmaceutical industry in one or more of various disciplines including (but not limited to) Manufacture, Quality, Supply Chain, Development, Engineering or Project Management
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
• Demonstrated ability of effectively working cross-functionally and with a wide range of seniority.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, especially FDA & EMEA requirements.
• Exceptional customer focus with demonstrated management of customer expectations and anticipating customer needs.
• Accreditation or specialisation in Project Management is desirable.
