As the Senior Project Manager for Vulnerability Management and CMDB Remediation projects at Capstone, you will lead pivotal initiatives to bolster our client's cybersecurity resilience in the Utilities sector. Your primary focus will be to ensure the successful execution of comprehensive projects centred on Vulnerability Management, patching, and CMDB remediation leveraging ServiceNow.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the CMDB remediation project as a sub-stream of the Vulnerability Management project.
• Establish a new CMDB with clearly defined support and maintenance ownership.
• Implement company-wide discovery tools and processes.
• Develop and implement CMDB maintenance processes critical for the success of the Vulnerability Management project.

 Project Management Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire project delivery lifecycle, including planning, tracking, resource allocation, and change management.
• Provide project status reporting, risk/issue management, and escalation as required.
• Oversee Steering Committee meetings and project governance.
• Report project status, risk management, issue handling, and finances to the Cybersecurity Program Manager.
  

Expertise Required:

• Preferred experience in managing large-scale and complex Vulnerability Management and patching projects.
• Ability to conduct regular patching across all company assets, including IT and OT assets.
• Experience in utilities, gas, or electricity sectors is desirable.
• Proficiency in collaborating with stakeholders to establish pre-production/production-like environments for patch testing and monthly patching cycles.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow CMDB.
• Ability to navigate autonomously across diverse teams and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Willingness to take full responsibility for project delivery.
• Flexibility in working with shared resources with BAU responsibilities, often not available as planned.
