The Division is responsible for leading and supporting the AEC’s transformation and includes Indigo Program management and product design, Enterprise Transformation and investment portfolio strategy and delivery oversight, enterprise change management, and data and information management.The AEC is committed to the APS values of being impartial, committed to service, accountable, respectful, and ethical.Job SummaryThe Senior Project Officer, Enterprise Transformation and Portfolio Management Office (ETPMO) supports the Assistant Director ETPMO and Director ETPMO in uniting, leading and supporting people at all levels across the AEC to achieve the AEC’s strategic and transformation. These responsibilities include maximising the contribution of the AEC’s investment to its strategic and transformation objectives and realising the AEC investment portfolio’s planned contribution to its strategic and transformation objectives.The Senior Project officer will be responsible for maximising the AEC’s ability to adapt its strategies and delivery plans based on lessons learned and the emerging opportunities and risks of its changing strategic environment by adopting both a planned and adaptive strategic approach.Over a three-month period, the strategic planning and/or investment portfolio management professional will support the Assistant Director in leading the ETPMO’s work on either transformation strategy, investment strategy and planning, or transformation and investment delivery oversight, and collaborate with team members across these areas, within a fast paced and dynamic environment, while exercising sound judgement, expertise, knowledge, and better practice and complying with legislation, regulations, and relevant operating procedures.The Senior Project Officer will also collaborate with the team to mature the AEC's transformation and investment framework and build organisational transformation and investment portfolio management capability and will be a key point of contact with internal stakeholders and will have excellent relationship management skills, forming and maintaining positive working relationships across the AEC.To excel you’ll have:
- Experience in setting out clear strategies, navigating transformation journeys and communicating the AEC’s transformation strategy.
- Ability to prioritise, balance and plan an integrated portfolio of change initiatives through an investment portfolio strategy, and transformation and investment portfolio delivery plan.
- Ability to think critically and demonstrate excellent initiative and judgement to deliver outcomes supporting the AEC’s strategic direction.
- Sound knowledge and ability to provide oversight, assurance, and support for the successful delivery of the portfolio of initiatives to realise their planned benefits.
- Ability to achieve results, work under pressure with impeccable attention to detail, to organise priorities and meet deadlines.
