Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Project Officer assists the IT Team with the development and implementation of projects including planning, scheduling & reporting. The Senior Project Officer will also have input into, and support project management processes put in place by the Portfolio and IT Teams.

Key Accountabilities:

• Assist with software and infrastructure projects across IT as required
• Provide logistical and framework support to project resources & PMs
• Facilitate flow of information across project resources
• Manage project schedules/milestones/dependency and risk and issue/lessons learned logs
• Track and report effectively on projects in the IT Workplan and PMF framework
• Identify and escalate risks and issues where necessary
• Liaise with external vendors where applicable
• Support the management of project budgets and financials
• Support project management processes and seek continuous improvement
• Backfill project managers during periods of absence
• Manage small projects
