Job Description
About the Role
The Senior Project Officer assists the IT Team with the development and implementation of projects including planning, scheduling & reporting. The Senior Project Officer will also have input into, and support project management processes put in place by the Portfolio and IT Teams.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist with software and infrastructure projects across IT as required
- Provide logistical and framework support to project resources & PMs
- Facilitate flow of information across project resources
- Manage project schedules/milestones/dependency and risk and issue/lessons learned logs
- Track and report effectively on projects in the IT Workplan and PMF framework
- Identify and escalate risks and issues where necessary
- Liaise with external vendors where applicable
- Support the management of project budgets and financials
- Support project management processes and seek continuous improvement
- Backfill project managers during periods of absence
- Manage small projects
