An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Project Planner to join our mighty Snowy 2.0 team! We're looking for a subject matter expert bridging the Integrated program to onsite planning. Reporting to the Planning and Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for the assurance of the programme. Additionally you will provide support onsite, feeding down the master programme to the sub project and bringing back actuals and insights to the master programme and Project Controls.
This key role supports onsite delivery and the programme as a whole by identifying and rectifying gaps in the planning and scheduling for the project. This role is based onsite at Lobs Hole or Tantangara on a FIFO/DIDO roster of 14 days on, 7 days off.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Work within the Integrated Planning Team, the onsite Project Management team and Contractor to verify and validate all data and configured information.
Working within the established governance requirements whilst developing and implementing best practice.
Assuring data at each stage of development by developing safeguards and gross checks.
Analysing data from primary Programme, Primavera P6, and other key project platforms in HSE and Quality pillars.
Working with the Project Controls team to correlate time, costs, and value reporting.
Presenting analysis and reporting to Sub Project and Snowy Cooma Office Managers.
Providing Programme translation to sufficient level of detail to Project Managers.
Managing daily and weekly HR interface for requirements of the Project Planning Team.
Encouraging the right behaviours to provide a constructive environment within the team to support construction delivery.
We're looking for someone with:
A minimum of 15 years of proven experience in a senior role within the planning and scheduling function in a large scale construction project.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Construction Management, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
Experience in a hydro project would be highly advantageous.
Ability to implement Contract Clause requirements and arrange deliverables within given time frames.
Solid communications, oratory and report writing skills.
Strong Office Suite skills, industry planning and reporting platform experience e.g. Oracle Suite or Deltek, BIM software's.
Good interpersonal skills working with cross functional teams.
