You will be working alongside our clients and their delivery partners to ensure projects and programmes are completed within the agreed parameters. Drawing from your appreciation of, or wealth of experience, you will be applying processes and systems that help plan, monitor, and control all phases of the project lifecycle.Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of planning
- Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning
- Developing and maintaining progress databases
- Progress reporting
- Milestone projections, delay/float path analysis
- Earned Value Management systems
- Monitoring schedule performance and productivity
- Attending scheduled meetings, liaising with clients and subcontractors
- Responsibility for the quality and accuracy of schedules and reports
- Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions
- Recording delay and disruption
- Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes
- Travelling to projects to carry out the above, if required
- Covering Senior Project Planner responsibilities when required
- Ability to carry out the roles and responsibilities as defined above
- Background in construction-related degree or trade
- 5+ years' experience in Project Planning of large construction projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- Proven ability to work within strict deadlines
- Knowledge of and commitment to Health & Safety
- Knowledge of Earned Value Management and systems
- Familiar with Power Query and Power BI for data analysis and visualisation
- Able to travel interstate when required
- Degree qualified in building, construction or engineering is preferred.
