What you’ll contribute to
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Specialist to join our Aftersales Division.
The Senior Project Specialist is primarily responsible for continuously evaluating, reviewing the National Warehouse Operations storage capacity and logistics activities associated with the expansion of delivery destinations for the National Parts and Accessories Division. This activity is done to develop mid to long term business plans to ensure the operations has the capacity to meet targets in line with the Long-Term Business Plan.
This is a permanent role based in Altona North with flexible work arrangements.
How you’ll make an impact
Develop and implement strategies to support the national expansion of Parts Distribution Centres by ensuring warehouse operations are scaled to efficiently and cost effectively deliver parts to achieve National Parts and Accessories objectives.
Review & recommend warehouse automation systems to ensure they are in-line with warehousing best practice and performance to meet operational growth forecasts.
Provide advice and assist stakeholders in the development of plans to increase the capacity & efficiency of the Toyota Parts Distribution Centres.
Ensure warehouse shipping and part packaging activities are streamlined for safety, efficiency, and quality to ensure the right parts, are in the right place, at the right time, in collaboration with suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Coordinate projects and schedules, and report performance against key milestones to ensure delivery of projects to schedule, quality and cost objectives.
Monitor and analyse performance against targets for own area and recommends countermeasures where required to increase Dealer and Guest satisfaction.
Lead and facilitate warehouse and transportation forums to ensure that plans, progress, and issues are communicated to all stakeholders. Facilitates briefings as required.
Update and maintain reporting systems to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.
Monitor own tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements in order to minimise Toyota’s risk exposure and liabilities.

Degree in Logistics, Business, Engineering or equivalent experience
Minimum 8+ years’ accumulative work experience
Experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management
Experience in Project Management
Experience in data analysis and systems implementation
