The Senior Project Specialist, Technical & Delivery (Parkville) requires a highly focused, driven, motivated and experienced professional who is passionate about contributing to the delivery of public infrastructure, leading a high-performing project team to drive exceptional project outcomes.
They will have experience successfully delivering critical services within infrastructure projects across the design, procurement and delivery phases. The Senior Project Specialist, Technical & Delivery (Parkville) will have demonstrated experience working effectively within a complex multi-disciplinary brownfield (fully operational) environment, demonstrated experience in delivering and re-augmenting critical high-risk services infrastructure, communicating with a range of highly complex internal and external stakeholders, and delivering high quality public infrastructure on time and on budget.
The Senior Project Specialist, Technical & Delivery (Parkville) role require extensive, highly regarded, professional and established people and stakeholder management skills, with the role required to oversee, advise and collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams (including external consultants) and be the key interface with the health service provider and industry (including Managing Contractor (MC) with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) market) as well as brief and advise the Executive Project Director, Director Technical & ICT, FM and other senior VHBA and Departmental executives (including, the Senior Executive Director, Program Delivery and CEO, Victorian Health Building Authority).
The successful applicants must also be capable of supporting the Department's strategic objectives of ensuring all Victorians are able to access good health and wellbeing into the tendering, commercial and contractual requirements of VHBA's PPP, GLM and MC projects throughout all key phases of project development (including, the planning, procurement, delivery and operations phases).
