Senior Property Accountant

Role:

Our client is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of their clients retail properties. Furthermore, you will be presenting financial data and offering solutions for improvement to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for multiple properties
• Preparation and co-ordination of the Monthly Property and Portfolio Reports
• Coordinate with property managers to ensure timely rent collection and lease compliance
• Monitor budget and financial performance of properties
• Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards
• Process improvement and review
• Presenting results to clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience in property accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting software MRI is desirable but not essential and Excel
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
