We are looking for a Full Time Senior Property Coordinator, responsible for the Assets & Property activities across our Residential Aged Care home and Retirement Village at Harmony Village in Shepparton.
About the role:
Role responsibilities include scoping of works, coordination of refurbishments, oversight of maintenance, services and utilities, and associated planning and administration. Ensuring contractor compliance, delivery, and value for money is a focus. Participation in emergency planning and services coordination will be an important part of the role.
You will be responsible for liaison with Residential Aged Care and Retirement Village residents, neighbours, and community partners. Pivotal to the role will be your ability to develop and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders. You will be instrumental in delivering a safe, secure, and amenable environment for residents, staff and visitors to Harmony Village, while balancing the corporate requirements necessary to ensure compliant and sustainable operations.
In addition to the technical knowledge and skills required of the role, customer service capability is a necessity. Dealing with vulnerable people, you will be required to exercise judgement with sensitivity. You will need to maintain close communication with staff and residents to ensure safe and efficient delivery of works and services. Providing new residents with a welcoming experience and supporting a comfortable transition into Residential Care and Retirement Living Retirement is a key element of this critical role.
You will have:
- Superior customer service, relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Technical ability required for a broad property role.
- Strong written skills, including report writing, client communication, and scope writing.
- OHS knowledge and ability to apply knowledge in a construction and maintenance environment.
- Medium level computer skills and the willingness and the capacity to undertake training to achieve proficiency in enterprise platforms, including but not limited to Urbanize and Linksafe.
- Sound record keeping and administrative skills.
- Experience in Aged Care or Retirement Living, or in a workplace which provides skills transferrable to the sector.
- Experience achieving programmed deliverables.
- Qualifications which support you in carrying out this role.
- A White Card or willingness to obtain one.
