About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Property Management/Senior Property Manager for a leading real estate agency. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing the Property Management department and driving business growth. The ideal candidate will lead a team of Property Managers and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained, enhancing employee engagement and retention, and driving strong team performance and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the property management team to ensure efficient operations and high service standards.
- Develop and implement property management strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
- Manage and nurture client relationships, consistently exceeding their expectations.
- Promptly and effectively resolve tenant and landlord issues.
- Prepare financial and management reports, oversee rent collection, and manage lease renewals.
- Mentor and train property management staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry best practices.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the property management portfolio.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, investors, and industry partners.
- Create and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to attract new clients.
- Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.
- Meet company KPIs and monitor Property Managers' KPIs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a proven track record in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of property management regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in property management software and MS Office (Systems used: Property Me, Inspection Express, Inspect Real Estate).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of real estate market trends and dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
